TMJ

Sometimes it is difficult to chew because of jaw pain. It is generally due to the temporomandibular joint.  A disc between the temporal bone and the ramus of the mandible either is shifted forward or back. When either occurs, the TMJ becomes painful and it becomes difficult to open your mouth and chew when eating.  This issue is treatable, and makes life much more enjoyable when corrected. If you are suffering from TMJ contact Dr. Zuckerman at 818-707-1061 to set up an appointment.
